WOMEN WHO KNOW THINGS

A Monthly Writing Ritual

You know more than you have made space to hear.

Women Who Know Things is a monthly ritual for women who are ready to stop standing at the edge of their wisdom and start giving it voice.

This is not a course, a spectator sport, or another place to collect other people's insight while leaving your own untouched.

When you say yes to this circle, you are saying yes to a monthly writing and sharing practice. And you are also saying yes to something deeper: living in closer relationship with your own soul's knowing.

This is how you become a woman who trusts what she knows and is no longer willing to keep it to herself.

The most powerful wisdom you hold comes from your lived experience.

What distracts us from it? The onslaught of news and information. The new courses we take and new teachers we insist on learning from. The endless personal development frameworks we could consume until we die.

Meanwhile, your soul is like Yo! I'm orchestrating this whole life for you to wake up inside of it, and you're not even paying close attention?!

Women Who Know Things exists to interrupt this pattern.

When women lose contact with their own knowing, they become easier to shape by noise, pressure, and other people's authority. When you return to that knowing, it changes how you write, choose, speak, lead, and live.

This is not about learning more. It is about making contact with what is already here.

What begins to change with this practice:

  • You stop missing what your life is trying to tell you.

  • You build trust with the voice that comes through you.

  • You leave each month with a piece of writing that did not exist before.

  • You practice sharing what is true before you feel perfectly ready.

  • You begin building a body of work rooted in lived experience, not borrowed ideas.

Will you grow an audience doing this? If you want to. But that is not why we are here. What happens when you write and share consistently is something quieter and more useful: you stop being a stranger to your own voice. You build a body of work that is genuinely yours. You become someone your own wisdom can move through.

Why this matters

What happens each month

You write. Cara shares some words and a prompt, 2 other women share wisdom stories + prompts to stir your own. We have a total of 20-30 focused minutes each session in community.

You speak. At the close of each hour, if you choose, you step into an optional breakout room and speak what you've written aloud. Four minutes. No commentary.

You share. Within the month, you take one wisdom story into the world via your Substack, your blog, your email list, a friend or our Circle online platform. All of it counts. Hitting post is not a distribution strategy. It is a path to embody your wisdom..

You are held. By your commitment to this process, fellow community members and occasional voice notes from Cara to keep you living your wisdom between rituals.

You leave each month with something on the page that was not there before.

  • Tired of consuming other people's wisdom while neglecting your own

  • Sensing that your life is saying something and are done forgetting to write it down

  • Ready for a practice that helps you listen, write, and share from a deeper source

  • Done withholding your voice until it feels polished, perfect, or strategically useful

This is for you if you are:

This is NOT for you if :

  • You want more frameworks to hide behind. You want to observe instead of participate. You want to keep treating your life as raw material that never becomes expression.

Women Who Know Things is where wisdom stops being an idea and becomes a way of living.

Writing helps you see what you know.

Speaking helps you feel it in your body.

Sharing helps you become the woman your wisdom has been waiting for.

About Your Guide

I’m an Emmy Award-winning journalist, Moth StorySLAM winner, and coach whose work has appeared in the Boston Globe, The Washington Post, and HuffPost. But credentials are the least interesting thing about me. I bring a decade in broadcast newsrooms, two decades of coaching, and 51 years of finding new ways to alchemize a deeply lived life. I write for women sitting on a lifetime of wisdom who are ready to give it voice.
